In one week's time, Mr. Blair will unveil the British government's first top-secret project to attach super-powered turbine engines to the main isle of England, Scotland and Wales effectively turning Great Britain into a mobile island. The subsequent disappearance of Britain will baffle the rest of the world except for the Chinese who had long seen it coming. The British mobile platform will briefly re-emerge to dock and fuel at Madagascar and let it be known they have accepted the quasar in modern physics as the new British

Sooner or later the brits will realise that they'll keep the queen and all the rest with the euro, they'll just save a lot of money.

I think the arguments are interesting for both the adoption and rejection of the Euro, but lets face facts - its going to happen sooner or later.

In late 2010, after the latest sterling crisis brought on by the competing energy cartels, the chancellor announces the intention to join. An election is forced. With the potential Olympics embarrassment to come, the new government confims the entry rate. Business breathes a sigh of relief after many had redenominated as € based. (Alternatively, the £ gets used only by locals, everyone uses the € for major transactions anyway, we continue happy as part committed, part traditionalists in EU. We also get permission to call the Euro something different as Latvia, Malta Greece are - pronounced 'pahrnd'in the local dialect)

Fed up with the eussr, weekly terror attacks and the new new labour government's police state secret police (the NLVD or Labours Commisariat for National Affairs) (See Wikipedia NKVD) the people have voted for one Nick Griffin. He has promptly seized control of the UK, ditched the eu but also established himself as some sort of un-de-electable fuhrur. The new currency is the 'New Pound' with Griffin on it in place of the Queen!

First January is the prefered date to join the eurozone. In 2019, with oil priced at USD 450 a barrel (EUR 150, at that time), and after Japan, China and Korea formed their own single currency (the yong), the british government finally realizes that the pound sterling, whose exchange and interest rate had been completly locked with the euro anyway for some 10 years, is an anachronism and decides to join the euro the first day of the following year.

Stardate 2050 Today spock we have on the planet Earth joined with the planet Uranus and we have decided to get rid of that money that they call sterling and we will replace it with the Uran it is a very strong currency and i think that all those people that were fighting to get the united kingdom out of Europe have finally been buried so we shouldnt have to much trouble introducing this one. The President of the united federation of Planets (Toni Bliar Jnr the 2004th)has been trying for a few years now and he has finally got his way since the chancelor of the federation of Planets was sacked for embezeling
