Now that the Growth and Stability Pact has been watered down at the first sign of trouble he may well be right. This is your chance to stick a finger in the wind and predict the future. No need to bring down the Lottery regulator onto me. A single day can only be claimed by one person. There is no detection for multiple entries but please be honest and bet only once on each question above. Judging question 1: I deem the euro to have collapsed when there is no longer a single interest rate across the Euro zone. Some members may quit the euro-zone before it collapses, and I would consider the departure of France, Italy or Germany as the point at which the euro is no longer pan-European. The second bet should be easy to resolve; It's when the UK government decides the time table for switching over. All bets will be closed after this announcement. As I record the date bets are made I can filter out late bets. The resolution of question 1 voids question 2, but not vice versa. May the best prophet win!
